The Food Review

This is a Sunday morning event and is one of my favorite foods. The omelette is made with one egg and filled with a generous serve of smoked salmon and cream cheese. In summer, the addition of fresh chives makes this meal extra-special. It is normally served with two slices of wholemeal toast and butter. I took the photo on this page using my iPhone and was careful to make sure that there were no harsh shadows as I wanted the image to do justice to the dish.

Fresh, peach-colored slivers of salmon that felt tender and meaty in the mouth. Strong aromas of bonfire smokiness and cured saltiness. However, the taste was more subtle, with balanced sea salt, clean fish, sweetness and gentle smoke flavors.

A superb trio. Our testers were delighted by smoked salmon with a twist and thoroughly enjoyed this festive interpretation of a classic. Each slice has a distinct flavor, from fruity orange and lemon zestiness to earthy, sweetened beetroot with a boozy hit. This is great if you want some variety.

One of my favorite foods and good for a nice and easy breakfast
